| "Dan Prather, Sr., the man who started Prather Custom Cue Parts back some 30+ years ago, has built some cues. All of us here at Prather's were curious about what he had been doing out in the shop lately ...well now we know, building cues of course!
Back in the day, our father Dan Prather, schooled us in the art of cue parts building, which eventually evolved into cue building. We are forever grateful for his persistence, ingenuity and fatherly love he put forth to enrich our lives with his knowledge and skill. These cues are what he calls, back to the basics, no frills, just a matter of simple balance and playability. Just like the saying goes..."There's no school like the old school." Each of these cues bears a "Unique Identity" name from the very applicable to the whimsical, and "literally" anywhere in between. Initially 24 were made, all unique, all expressive, all great playing cues!
